Ansioso por recuperar a su esposa (Esther Williams), profesora de nataci\u00f3n, un enamorado compositor de canciones (Red Skelton) se matricula en una universidad para mujeres… \u00a1y se licencia summa cum laude<\/em> en el arte de la comedia! Red se muestra en plena forma, y Esther, con sus ce\u00f1idos trajes de ba\u00f1o, luce mejores formas todav\u00eda en esta deliciosa farsa musical que discurre a un ritmo de v\u00e9rtigo. Escuela de sirenas<\/em> empieza a lo grande: Xavier Cugat toca, Red hace el payaso y Esther se zambulle en la piscina. Y a partir de ese momento, la fiesta no decae. La universidad est\u00e1 repleta de bellas starlets<\/em> de la MGM. Cugie sigue desgranando c\u00e1lidos ritmos sudamericanos. Harry James ataca vibrantes ritmos jazz\u00edsticos. Y un acertado reparto \u2013entre otros, Basil Rathbone, Donald Meek, Janis Paige y el blanco favorito de las burlas de Groucho Marx: Margaret Dumont\u2013 refuerza el desarrollo de la cinta. El final consiste en un deslumbrante ballet<\/em> acu\u00e1tico con la sirena predilecta de la pantalla nadando gr\u00e1cilmente entre llamaradas y chorros de agua. Pero Esther no es la \u00fanica \u201cbelleza\u201d de la pel\u00edcula. Red se pone un tut\u00fa rosa para asistir a una clase de ballet<\/em> y destroza al pobre Tchaikovsky. \u00a1Al agua, patos!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
