La gente conf\u00eda en Hank Martin. \u00c9l es uno de ellos, un buen chico que sabe lo que significa tener poco m\u00e1s que el cielo por techo y una hoguera por estufa. La gente cree que ser\u00e1 la voz de los pobres si se instala en la mansi\u00f3n del gobernador. Pero han depositado su confianza en la persona equivocada. La leyenda de la pantalla James Cagney (en el papel de Hank) y el director Raoul Walsh (firmante de Al rojo vivo<\/em> y Los violentos a\u00f1os veinte<\/em>) brillan de nuevo en Un le\u00f3n en las calles,<\/em> un relato vigoroso ambientado en el profundo sur norteamericano. Cuando desvela que en una f\u00e1brica de la zona enga\u00f1an en el peso a los algodoneros, Hank se convierte en un h\u00e9roe y en uno de los candidatos favoritos a ocupar el puesto de gobernador. Pero sus aspiraciones al cargo se convierten en un asalto al poder que deriva en traici\u00f3n a la gente que tiene m\u00e1s pr\u00f3xima.
