Cuando, sigui\u00e9ndoles el rastro por el desierto, Kipp llega al pueblo de Twin Forks, todos los vecinos adoptan un comportamiento sospechoso y nadie \u2013el m\u00e9dico (Harry Antrim), el tabernero, el sheriff<\/em>…\u2013 parece saber nada de los bandidos. Para tener una oportunidad de descubrir a los asesinos, Kipp hace correr la voz de que espera por correo un retrato del jefe de la banda y todo el mundo empieza a ponerse nervioso. Dolores Dorn encarna a la hija del m\u00e9dico, y Marie Windsor a una encargada de estafeta con algo que ocultar.<\/p>\n

La figura del cazador de recompensas ha sido casi siempre tratada con desprecio por el cine de Hollywood. Esta pel\u00edcula dirigida por Andr\u00e9 de Toth (Carson City),<\/em> en cambio, lo presenta como un personaje duro y h\u00e1bil con el gatillo, pero no carente de principios morales ni de sentido de la justicia.
